Evening/Night Time Skincare Routine – Acne Prone Skin.

Categories Beauty, Skincare

Hello beautiful people! 🙂

Today I am back with a post about my evening/night time skincare routine. I recently blogged about my morning skincare routine, so click here if you are interested. 🙂

If I wear makeup that day I usually come home & cleanse my skin with this Decleor Micellar Oil. I’ve been using this product for a few months now & overall I like it a lot. It easily remove all the makeup on my face. I do not need to scrub my face as this makeup remover melts them all off! 😀

A more in depth review on this product.

Bottom line: remove all my makeup easily, did not clogged my pores/increase breakouts.

If I came home late that night I usually jump straight to my Lush’s Herbalism cleanser right after I remove my makeup with Decleor’s Micellar Oil.

But if I am not wearing any makeup that day/just came home from a workout I usually double cleanse with these two products. 🙂

I’ve been using this travel size Caudalie Gentle Cleansing Milk for a few months now & I like it. It iseasy to work with & it has a very fresh scent to it. Instead of washing it off with water I usually wipe it off with a cotton pad. Trust me, you will be surprised with how much dirt it is on the cotton pad especially if you are living in a huge city like Moscow. 😛

I usually double cleanse with Lush’s Herbalism in the shower because I think it is easier to work with that way. I usually leave it on for awhile on my skin as a quick mask before washing it off completely. I only started using this product few weeks ago. I’ve been seeing improvements on my skin & I noticed my skin is less oilier too. 🙂

Here’s a recent review I did.

Right after I come out from my shower I tone my face with apple cider vinegar. I’ve been doing this for about a month now & absolutely love it. Even though the result is not immediate but when it comes to skincare you really gotta give time to your skin to adjust.

Definitely noticed lesser breakout, more even skin tone & skin is less oily.

Now onto treatments. I only use the Mad Hippie’s Vitamin A Serum every other night because I think my skin prefers it that way. If you’ve been reading my blog you already know how much of a big fan I am of this company! 😀 Their products are amazing so be sure to check them out.

But every night I will use my beloved Dermaviduals’ Echinacea Extract & Plutoderm-Plus. Both of these target to reduce inflammation/redness/generally just soothe the skin. I knew this brand through my beautician & I’ve been using their products for about a year now. Absolutely noticed a huge difference in my skin compared to when I was breaking out so bad when I first visited my beautician.

Last but not least, moisturize! I used to hate/scared to incorporate this step into my skincare routine because I generally have combination skin & I do not want to add extra moisture to my skin. But generally that is a misconception. You want to make sure to put back moisture to your skin & keep it balance.

I’ve been using The Body Shop’s Aloe Soothing Day Cream. I know it is a day cream but I prefer using this at night. I’ve always been using this moisturizer few years ago but recently I noticed they switched up the ingredients in this product. So I don’t think I will be repurchasing it again after I am done with this pot. 🙂

Every once a week I will pamper myself with this L’oreal Detox & Brighten Charcoal Face Mask. This literally draws out all the gunk & blackhead on my skin. Would not recommend to use this the day/few days before a big event because you may notice an increase breakout because this mask sucks out everything! 😀

I also did a review on this mask so check it out if you are interested.

So that is it for my night time skincare routine. I generally do not use all of these products every single night. It depends on what my skin is feeling that day. Trust me, it is so important to listen to your skin because not everyday your skin will react the same.

Hope you guys find this post helpful & have a good day! 😀
