Hello beautiful people over the internet! πŸ™‚

Sorry I did not came up with a post last Saturday, I just needed the weekend to myself. Anyway, yesterday I had Easter brunch with my friends & decided to post up a makeup tutorial on the look I did.

Note: if you’ve read my previous makeup tutorials I pretty much use the same products over & over again. I am that kind of person who clings onto things I love & trust. πŸ˜› So I apologize if it is kind of repetitive.

Base Makeup:

I’ve been using the L’oreal Nude Magique Foundation for a few months now. It provides light to medium coverage. Unfortunately it does cling onto areas where my breakouts are drying off. Overall a good drugstore foundation.

& I use the Maybelline’s Better Skin Concealer on areas which needed more coverage. & top it off with Benefit’s Fake Up Concealer under my eye area to brighten it up. I am running out of this product soon & spring is coming so I need to switch up to a less moisturizing concealer. πŸ™‚

To lock down my base makeup I use the Tarte’s Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder. This product doesn’t contain the ingredient “talc”. My skin breakouts when I put talc on my face so unfortunately I cannot use a lot of setting powders, blushes & bronzers out there.

Quickly fill in my brows with The Face Shop’s Designing Brow Pencil.

Eye Makeup:

Now onto the best part! πŸ˜€

I forgot to include it into my pictures but I first prime my eyes with Nars’ Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. That is by far my favorite eyeshadow primer. I highly recommend especially if you have oily eyelids. πŸ™‚

Using my Urban DecayΒ Naked Palette, I first use the shade “Naked” & blend it all over my crease & slightly over it. Then I go in with “Smog” & put it all over my eyelid. This shade gives me a bronzey shimmery look to my eyes. I then finish off with the shade “Buck” at the outer V of my eyes. This gives a depth to my eyes.

Of course, a makeup tutorial wouldn’t be completed with my signature wing eye. πŸ˜› I’ve been using the L’oreal Super Slim Eyeliner Pen. Not my favorite eyeliner but it gets the job done.

Curl my lashes & top off the eye look with Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara.

Highlight:

I’ve been using the Naked Basic 2 Palette in the shade “Skimp” at the inner corner of my eyes. I think it really brightens my eyes & make a huge difference.

I use a little Lush’s Feeling Younger Skin Tint to highlight my cheekbones. I think this skin tint gives me a natural healthy glow. πŸ™‚

I knew the day would involve a lot of eating so I did not want to go with a dark bold lip & worry to reapply again throughout the day. So I finished the look with Gosh’s Matte Lipstick in the shade “Antique”. Definitely one of my current nude lipstick favorites. πŸ˜€

So that concludes my makeup look. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. This look is very day time appropriate as it gives a little depth to the eyes, not too smokey. πŸ˜›

I definitely miss making makeup tutorials but unfortunately I feel my makeup looks are very repetitive. Definitely switching up my makeup products as spring is coming so stay tune for more tutorials. πŸ˜€
