Happy Saturday everyone! 😀

I think it is finally time to do an updated skincare routine. I did one few months back if I am not mistaken. Over the years I definitely learned that less is more, the simpler the better. My skin doesn’t like a complicated routine which I am glad because I don’t have sit down & spend a ton of time & apply 10 products on my face. 😛

Basically my morning routine is just cleanse, tone & moisturize. 🙂

When I wake up in the morning I brush my teeth & cleanse my skin with this Dermaviduals Cleansing Gel. I am obsessed with the scent! I do not know how to describe it but it is fresh & comforting. Definitely a good start of the day. 😀

This cleansing gel is just right for me. I’ve never noticed any dryness/tightness after I pat dry my face. This post is not sponsored by Dermaviduals but I have to say, my skin cleared up a lot because of this company. My beautician recommended me to this skincare line & I’ve been using this for close to a year now. 🙂

Previously I was using the Dermavidual Face Tonic as a toner. But after I ran out of it I decided to diy my toner with apple cider vinegar. I’ve been using it as my toner every morning & night. Definitely noticed a difference in terms of balancing my skin & helped with clearing out my skin.

For starters you want to begin with 1 part of water & 1 part of apple cider vinegar with the mother & slowly work your way up. Because apple cider vinegar can be quite harsh & drying on the skin so you have to start slow. I am currently still figuring out the perfect ratio for my skin. 🙂

Last but not least, moisturize! I know it is super intimidating to moisturize your skin when you already have an oily T zone/your skin is generally oily. I kind of avoid moisturizers last time because I hate it when my skin gets oily super fast.

But what I’ve learned is that when you’ve found a moisturizer that is just right for your skin & trust me, it’ll be life changing! 🙂 In the mornings I’ve been using this Dermaviduals DMS Base Cream Classic. This is targeted for normal to oily skin. What moisturizer does is they create a barrier from the environment & your skin to keep your skin balanced. So don’t forget to moisturize even on a hot sunny summer days. 🙂

So this is my super simple & no fuss morning skincare routine. Unfortunately my skin is still not perfect. I still breakout & I still deal with hyperpigmentations. This acne journey as been tough but hopefully I will find a way to clear out my skin completely one day. 😀
