Lush Herbalism Review.

Categories Review, Skincare

Hey guys! So I am back with a review for you guys today. I will my sharing my thoughts & what I think about Lush’s Herbalism.

This product comes in a 100 g pot just like any of their cleansers. In the past I’ve tried their “Angels On Bare Skin” & repurchased countless pots of it. Don’t ask me why it took me so long to finally check this product out. πŸ˜›

What does this cleanser does?

Battling with oily, troubled skin? Cleanse with the power of herbs. Our gentle green giant has an exfoliating, deep-cleansing base of kaolin clay and rice bran to mop up excess oils, and a toning blend of rosemary, nettle and chamomile to leave skin feeling fresh, clean and calm. Herbalism gets its color from chlorophyllin, which is extracted from alfalfa plants: it’s rich in nourishing vitamins and minerals and helps to balance out your skin’s oil production. Say hello to clear, balanced skin!

Honestly this claims whatever I am looking for in a product & I am glad I finally give it a go. I’ve been reading tonnes of good reviews over the internet & I’ve seen so many YouTube videos raving about this product! πŸ™‚

As you can see it comes in a green dough in a pot. A lot of people are not a huge fan of the scent but I love earthy & calming scent so the smell of this cleanser doesn’t bother me at all. πŸ˜›

How to use?

Take a small amount in your hand, add a little water and mix into a paste. Massage into skin to gently cleanse, then rinse clean. Use all over your body for soft skin everywhere!

If I am not mistaken I think this product comes in 2 sizes. I got the small one because I did not intend to use it as a body cleanser/scrub. I normally use this over the shower every single night. I take a small amount & mix it with some water & spread it evenly all over my face. I did not rinse it off immediately, I continue to do whatever I need to do in the shower & lastly I only wash it off with water. So it’s like a cleanser + mask in one product. πŸ˜›

Ground Almonds (Prunus dulcis), Kaolin, Glycerine,Nettle, Rosemary, Rice Vinegar Extract (Urtica dioica, Rosmarinus officinalis), Rice Bran (Oryza sativa), Water (Aqua), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena), Chamomile Blue Oil (Matricaria Chamomilla), Sage Oil (Salvia officinalis),Fragrance, Chlorophyllin.Β

What I think about this product?

I’ve been using this product about 2 weeks now. I only use it at night during my shower so that it is less messy. I think it is a nice cleanser to use because it has fine ground almonds in it which helps to gently exfoliate my skin every night. I did not notice increase of breakouts from this product which is always a good thing.

I can’t only give credits to this product alone because I am sure with the help of other products my skin is improving as well. But I’ve noticed that my skin is less oily & I am not breaking out as much. I still get breakouts & I am still trying to figure it out how to stop it. πŸ™

Is this a miracle product? Probably not. Or maybe I just need to give this product a longer time to see what effect it has on my skin. But overall I am happy with the result & would recommend to anyone who has troubled & oily skin like me. πŸ™‚

This product retails for 470 rubles. I think Lush Russia only carry 100 g. & a little definitely goes a long way with this product. I think it will be able to last me for a good few months. So check it out if you haven already. πŸ˜€ & as always, when you shop in Lush make sure to check the expiry date because their products shelf lives are not very long. πŸ™‚

  • Helped to reduce oil/balance my skin.
  • A little product goes a long way.
  • Fresh ingredients.
  • Vegan friendly.

  • Can get messy sometimes.
  • Scent (for some people).
  • Price.

So this is my thoughts on what I think about Lush’s Herbalism. Hope this product will continue to improve my skin. I am always a sucker for Lush’s products & I try not to go into their stores whenever I pass by them. πŸ˜› Have a great day everyone! πŸ™‚
