I’ve been testing out this Decleor Micellar Oil for about a month now & I think I am ready to make a review on what I think about this product. 🙂 So let’s quickly get into it!
What does the company says?
This revolutionary cleanser is a world-first in micellar technology and uses the powerful combination of oil and water to work deep into the pores, dissolving and dispersing dirt and impurities and removing all traces of make-up, including waterproof and long-lasting formulations. Sweet Almond Oil, rich in essential fatty acids, helps to strengthen and soothe the skin, and Vegetal Squalene (derived from Olive Oil) maintains optimal hydration levels for deep moisturisation and suppleness.
How to use:
1. Dispense 1-2 pumps of micellar oil on dry hands
2. Spread gently and thoroughly over dry face
3. Add a few drops of water to face to emulsify (oil will turn milky white)
4. Rinse thoroughly
As you can see it comes in a slim packaging with a pump which is always a bonus. 😀 & the product itself is quite light & watery. It is not heavy as an oil but works just as well as cleansing oil.
At first I pumped 2 pumps onto my palm & gently massage it all over my face. For some reason the product was pretty ‘drying’ & did not really spread really well all over my face so I actually ended up using 4 pumps the first try. Then I discovered that it is better to have ‘moist’ hands so that it spreads better all over your face.
The product has a very fresh & clean scent to it. It quickly went off after you rinse it off. I use this as my first cleanse to remove all the makeup & dirt on my face. It is not heavy like some other cleansing oil out there. This micellar oil is the perfect description. Somewhat in between micellar water and cleansing oil. Honestly I think oily/acne prone skin will love this product because it is not heavy but very effective in removing makeup.
I’ve tried removing it with a full face of makeup & it gets the job done really well. I don’t have to rub/scrub my face. Just simple massaging to melt off all the makeup. Like any other cleansing oil you wet your fingers & emulsify the product before washing off completely.
I did not notice any breakout caused by this product. There is not allergic reaction/rashes which is always a good news. & overall I think it is a great makeup remover.
Will I repurchase it?
Probably a yes. Even though I would love to try more makeup removers out there but I am very particular with my skincare because of my acne concern. At least I know this product works great on my skin & I can always go back to it. I also think that the price is fairly reasonable as well. It retails for 1950 rubles but I got it on 40% off which is always a great deal. 😀
I will recommend everyone to check this product out. I think it will suit any skin types. I hope you guys found this review helpful! 🙂
